At Synergy Pilates we believe that change happens through movement and Movement heals.
Whether you are new to Pilates, Rehabbing from an injury or a seasoned athlete we have a program for you.

Our highly trained instructors specialize in creating and delivering programs around your needs, while keeping each session engaging, enjoyable and personalized.

Pre/Post Rehab clients: Because our method of Pilates is rooted in a physical therapy approach our team will work closely and collaboratively with your surgeon or/and Physcial Therapist to ensure proper instructions are being implemented.

Who we are

Nicole Raglin


Nicole discovered Pilates in 2001 as a way to rebalance and strengthen her body after the birth of her two sons as well as being involved in an unexpected car accident. She found the method to be perfect to help keep her body in balance, strong, and pain free. By incorporating regular Pilates and neuro-rehab training Nicole was able to restore her health  and eliminate her chronic neck and back pain. Nicole fell in love with how proper movement could heal ones body and set out to pursue a career in the health and wellness industry. Almost 21 years later Nicole is still pursuing her passion for wellness and is the proud of owner of Synergy Pilates as well as an educator for Polestar Pilates.

“I completed my comprehensive Pilates training from Polestar Pilates and Balanced Body where I gained in-depth knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, how to work with special populations as well as athletes, people with neurological conditions and the active aging. I also hold certifications with National Academy of Sports Medicine, Pilates for Nuero Rehab, SRT, and Anusara Yoga. I also a fully certified trainer of neuro-linguistic programming and offer clarity and high performance coaching opportunities.

Over the years I have had the opportunity to work with individuals of all ages and fitness levels, tailoring my sessions to suit their specific needs and goals.What sets me apart as an instructor is my holistic approach. I am passionate about helping my clients cultivate a deep mind-body connection, focusing on proper alignment, breath control, and mindful movement. I strongly believe that Pilates is not just a physical workout but a pathway to improved overall well-being.In my sessions, you can expect a supportive and uplifting environment, where each person is encouraged to reach their full potential.

I provide clear and precise instructions, ensuring that you understand the correct form and technique to maximize the benefits of every exercise. Outside of the studio, you can find me exploring nature trails, leading women’s leadership groups, paddleboarding, traveling and continuously expanding my knowledge in the field of movement science. I am always excited to learn and integrate new techniques into my teaching, staying at the forefront of the ever-evolving Pilates industry.

Malina Murphy

Pilates Instructor

My first experience with Pilates was in college in CA. Growing up as a ballerina, I was immediately attracted to the energetic flow that Pilates has and it's relation to dance. I graduated in 2020 as a Physical Therapist Assistant from San Diego Mesa College. Over the last 22 years my work experience has spanned from an Inpatient trauma center, skilled nursing, and Outpatient Orthopedics. My specialty's in Outpatient orthopedics includes rehabilitating neurologic patients, post Breast Cancer , and total joint replacement patients. My journey from San Diego to Austin has allowed me to further my interests and pursue a certification from Polestar Pilates. I am a lifelong student and my patient's and client's teach me something new with each interaction. My desire is to help people of all kinds to move in a way that feels safe and also challenges the mind and body. In my spare time I love walking/biking the beautiful Austin trails with my husband. I also love eating my way through Texas and spending time with my 2 cats, Chaucer and Seuss.


Kimia Kardan, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Hi! Im Kimia Kardan and I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy working in an outpatient pelvic health and inpatient rehab setting. I received my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Dance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and my  Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL.

I am currently an apprentice through the Polestar Pilates and am thrilled to combine my physical therapy and pilates practice to help each client lead a healthier and happier life by creating an individualized and holistic plan to reach their goals.

I am passionate about creating a  mind-body connection and helping my clients live their best lives pain free! In my  free time, I enjoy exploring all the sights and foods that Austin has to offer. I also love dancing, yoga, traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

Nicolette Sciore

Pilates Instructor

Hi! I’m Nicolette Sciore an Austin native and mother to two beautiful boys. I graduated from the University of Texas with a B.S in Radio, TV, and Film and is a former educator in the public school system and currently work as a production manager for an e-learning company.

I have been an athlete since high school and currently practice Jiu jitsu and kickboxing.  I am also a current member of the Round Rock Women's soccer league and have been playing in it since 2019.  

Pilates has been a steady part of my training since 2021. Not only does it help keep me in peak physical condition but it also helps me stay injury free!

My passion for teaching and helping others has been the catalyst for the various roles I have held over my career and continues to drive my ambitions forward as a Pilates instructor.

After nearly 10 years as a private massage therapist, Layla found herself in search of a deeper understanding as to why faulty movement patterns could lead her clients to ongoing pain and/or movement restrictions. Alongside her passion for rehabilitation through soft tissue work and movement, her curiosity for Pilates grew as she started to notice more and more that her clients who practiced Pilates were able to reshape their bodies, in several instances completely removing chronic pain from their lives. While she finds a deep satisfaction in helping clients leave the studio feeling taller and invigorated, Layla continues to explore the connection between movement, emotion and expression within the human body.

Layla is originally from New Zealand where she completed her Comprehensive Pilates training with Polestar New Zealand from the idyllic setting of Hawkes Bay. She recently relocated to Austin with her husband and two children and enjoys the many outdoor activities Austin has to offer

I was introduced to Pilates in 2016 shortly after moving to Austin from Ohio. As a 5th grade math and science teacher, another passion of mine lies with educating others in addition to improving my own physical fitness. I wanted to achieve this by improving my strength and flexibility. Shortly after starting Pilates, I noticed the benefits in my everyday life. My goal as a Polestar Pilates instructor is to improve strength and balance while maintaining mobility in my clients’ bodies. Additionally, I am passionate toward helping clients to achieve their own fitness goals in a fun, supportive manne.
